Regular Ibprofen works great, believe it or not, and it is what I live by, for my current state of unresolved cavities and incoming wisdom teeth. But if you are looking for something else, chloroseptics work temporarily, or maximum strength (not baby) orajel works wonders, too. But be ware that that actually numbs your mouth, so if you still need to talk, I wouldn't suggest it. Ibprofen would be what I would suggest first. Or ask a local pharmacist.
