Dog Dental Care?

My large breed dog recently had some dental work done. It was just routine scaling, however, three of her front teeth were "wiggly". So the vet pulled them out. These were her three front bottom incisors. I'm worried it might affect her eating or daily life. I was wondering what I can do to help my dog and how it will affect her. I'm not sure if these teeth are very important or not at all. I'm very worried. Thank you.

Dog Dental Care?
dental work on dogs and cats is pretty routine. unlike people they adjust much quicker than you'd think. I have a dog with no teeth she has learned to crunch her dog food with just the sure force of her jaws. the loose teeth were probably more bothersome than she actually showed. Had they not pulled these teeth they may have became abcessed or rotted her other teeth. also the fact that they were front teeth can help u . dogs tend to chew with their back teeth. not to worry she'll be fine. Maybe a little sore for a couple of days.
Reply:just take her to the vet and when its out and healed buy one of those tooth brushes for dogs.
Reply:CALL THE VET THEY SHOULD HAVE EXPLAINED ALL THAT TO YOU WHEN THEY DID THE PROCEDURE. I'M SURE THE DO WILL EAT JUST FINE. STRESS TO THE VET HOW CONCERNED YOU ARE
Reply:I am sure that the dog does most of her chewing with the side and back teeth. Get one of those doggie tooth brushes with doggie toothpaste and keep her teeth up. Don't worry, she will be okay. I don't think it will affect her.
Reply:The vet should have explain more to you about the taking out the teeth and the way the dog would eat after the teeth were pulled. I think the dog will be ok to eat and will probably use the back teeth to chew.
Reply:The incisors are mainly for looks really...dogs eat with their molars and premolars. If food would have been a problem, the vet or the techs would have given discharge instructions to fee canned food/ wet food for a few days for him to adjust
Reply:Don't worry! Dogs don't use their front teeth for chewing. One of my greys just had 7 teeth pulled and he was eating dry food by the day after. Not that he didn't have a choice, I moistened food for him, but he wouldn't eat it and was eating out of the other dogs' bowls.

Your dog won't even notice - won't affect her at all!
