I am a 19 year old female, in full time education.
Surely, I am able to recieve free dental care on the NHS?
Free Dental Care?
if your british, yes you should do
Reply:im sorry but you do not qualify for free treatment as its only for students in full time education till they are 18, but do not panic, what you can do is get a hold of an HC1 form, fill it out and send it off.
the HC1 form is for people to apply for exemption from prescriptions, optical, dental, wigs and other treatments for anyone on a low income which you qualify for.
you will get a reply back normally within 4 weeks to say that you are either fully exempt for a year or you have partial exemption.
i filled one out when i was 20 and working on a low salary and i was granted partial exemption where i had to pay only the first £2.38 towards dental treatment and glasses etc..
you can collect this form at most chemists, dental surgeries and sometimes doctor surgeries have them.
Reply:I think you can ... I can and I'm 18.
