I am in need of dental care with no insurance or money. It is peridontal that is needed. I am disabled.?

The tooth is coming through the gum and they say that I can become real sick. It is said that I may have to have surgery and I am on a blood thinner. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. I am in the Bell County, Tx area.

go online, find out where the nearest dental school is.if u waive the possibility of suing for possible error, often the students-along with teacher supervising-will work on ur teeth for free,as a learning opportunity for the students.good luck!
Reply:I think you should contact the dept. of human services and apply for some type of medical assistance.
Reply:Here is a list of dental schools by state:

Reply:If you can afford $19.95 per month, you can get a plan that I am currently on that will cover most of your dental, vision, prescriptions, and chiropractic needs. Sounds like you don't have much choice. Hope this helps! Go take a look at the plan at urdentalmed.com
Reply:Try the Dallas County Dental Society. They should be able to give you a listing of free or sliding scale dentists in your area. If you are disabled, go to the hospital that told you that you needed surgery. Ask to speak with a hospital Social Worker. You can also try Catholic hospitals. They usually work with low income patients.
