That's the Republican plan for health care. Go to jail to get it.

Good question! I don't know...I also don't know why some members of the GOP whoi feel it is not the government's responsibility to provide healthcare, don't drop THEIR helthcare, funded by my tax dollars. Pretty screwed up, and a good argument for universal healthcare

Reply:Prisoners aren't guaranteed any health care, if they are not incarcerated over a year. Prisoner's can wait at the least, 2 years to get any care, if their medical issue is not life threatening. The doctors they have suck, too. I would rather be an elderly person paying my way medically, than a prisoner, any day.
Reply:Those of us that are locked up have no means to care for themselves so "society" takes care of them. As a Christian nation we are a poor example of taking care of the needy. We take better care of the greedy/undeserving and it's sad.
Reply:excellent question, we have to care for them or let them go , whod want to see a prison doctor though? Our care of the elderly and disabled and our vets is a national disgrace!

but their care is normally substandard and they normally aren't treated until they complain for a long time.
