Considering you don't mention what kind of dental care, or anything else.. It's probably best that you call the vet and tell him your problem and get them to give you a price.
Reply:Call some vets in your area and find out from them.
Reply:Call your vet and get an estimate of the cost of the dental procedure. The receptionist should be able to work one up for you.
Reply:Feed your dog raw meaty soup bones or femur bones from the grocery and the tarter will come off. You may have to ask for them if you don't see any in the meat case. Dogs who are given bones to chew on do not need Dental care provided it hasn't been building up for years and provided there is not already major decay or dental disease that has set in.
Reply:I can't answer for Michigan but I just had my dogs teeth cleaned in Texas and it was $216. That includes pre-anesthesia test to see if allergic to anesthesia and cleaning. There is a new vaccine given in a series of 2 shots 3 weeks apart that is supposed to greatly reduce the tartar at the gum line.
