Nutro Natural Choice Dental Care Dog Food?

Has anyone used this and it has helped their dogs breath? I want to feed my dog a good dog food, but am having a hard time deceiding on what brand

Nutro Natural Choice Dental Care Dog Food?
I'm not familiar with the dental care formula but I would defiantly recommend Nutro Natural Choice. I have been feeding it to my dog since he was 8 wks old (he is now almost 6yrs old) . Starting with Large Breed Puppy and Moving to Large Breed Adult. I have been told repeatedly by vets and other knowledgeable dog people that it is easy to tell he receives a good quality dog food.
Reply:nutro brand food is very good. it is vet and animal shelters recomended. i use the nutro puppy food and my puppy loves it. great food brand!!
Reply:I feed Nutro Large Breed with glucosamine to my crew.

I have not heard of the Dental care line, but do know that Nutro has a good quality line of food.

And let`s face it, when it came to the bad wheat that came from China, Nutro varieties were not on the list of contaminated foods.

When in doubt, contact Nutro and ask about the product before feeding it to your dog, I would.

Good Luck

Reply:Nutro is a pretty decent food. It's not the best out there, but it's a LOT better than most of the foods available at PetsMart and Petco. The only thing I don't like about the Nutro line is they tend to split their rice (list rice multiple times early on the ingredients list). This could indicate there is more rice in the food than meat.

The only foods at PetsMart that I think are better than Nutro, is Blue Buffalo and I heard they may start carrying Wellness.

The only better foods available at PetCo would be Solid Gold and Natural Balance. I hesitate recommending Natural Balance though because they do not have a puppy formula, it's an all ages formula which I am skeptical on. At about 9 months old though, I switched my puppy to a all ages formula but younger dogs I think do better on puppy formula.

There are a lot of foods better than the ones I listed, but they are not available at big brand pet stores.

If you're concerned about breath, chop up some parsley fine and mix into the kibble may need a tiny bit of water to help the parsley stick to the food.
