Questions about dental care?
You didn't say what kind of filling you got, but I will talk in generalities. Most sensitive fillings get better on their own. Sometimes there can be a problem with the filling, it wouldn't hurt to let your dentist have a look. Most would not charge to do that for you.

Bad breath can be caused by a lot of things. You already said you have cavities. It can also be gum disease. Are you cleaning your tongue? Your dentist can help you rule out dental causes. It can be sinus problems, GI problems, tonsils, lungs, and diet. So if your dentist can't find anything check with your physician.
Reply:I recently got a tooth filled and it was sensitive for about 2 weeks and now it is totally fine. It really just depends on how deep it was. I think that you will be fine. About the bad breathe there are many things but here are some pointers.

1. Make sure you are brushing 2 - 3 times a day and make sure that it is at least 3 minutes.

2. Make sure that you are brushing you tongue and getting the back of the tongue. If will feel weird at first but it really does help.

3. Always floss after brushing. There are spots that the brush can not get to and that is why flossing is necessary.

4. After you floss be sure to rinse with Scope or Listerine. If it burns keep going.

Good luck!
