I have no dental Insurance and need dental care ASAP in Leavenworth, ks?
You can afford Internet access but you don't bother buying dental insurance? Then you're just out of luck. There's no free "emergency room" for dental problems. Sorry.
Reply:Mexico or Thailand save big bucks
Reply:just pay cash. if you do not have dental insurnace which is really cheap, then you must be able to pay cash so go ahead and pay cash. you can go anywhere with cash
Reply:Is there a dental college nearby? In my area, we have one and I saved big bucks getting my wisdom teeth extracted.
Reply:Contact the dental society for your county. Look for (county) Dental Society in the phonebook. Call and ask them if they have any programs for low-income people or people without insurance. Dental schools have long waiting lists and often do not offer the type of care you need but you can give them a try. Look for community clinics that do medical and dental for low-income or no insurance folks. Try sliding-scale fee clinics. Try contacting your state's dental society to see if they have programs. I really recommend that you try to see a good dentist no matter what the cost. If the dentist is cheap and does a bad job you could be worse off. Try working out payment arrangements with a dentist. I wish you the very best.
Reply:I am actually in the same boat. My employer doesn't offer insurance To their employees (and I work for a doctor). It is cheap when offered through a company you work for and the company pays part of it, but anyone who has checked into the prices of insurance for a private policy would realize they aren't as cheap as you think!

Now off my soap box and on to your question. I agree you should try to find a dental college. Alot of offices will allow payments also. Just call around and see what the offices have to say. Good luck and hope you are feeling better soon. I just had 2 wisdom teeth pulled last night and had to pay put of pocket for it. I don't know which hurt worse!
Reply:Call these schools and ask if they have a public dental clinic you can visit:
