American Dental Care?

Posted an earlier question saying quite a few americans had really straight perfect white teeth, how much would invisalign cost in the USA? also are you dentists horrible like all the ones i've come across in the uk lol (not saying they are all horrible!) thanks

In my rural Mid-Atlantic general practice, I charge $3,000 for most Invisalign cases, which is less than traditional braces in most cases. I have heard that some charge more for Invisalign than they do for braces, though. The thing is, I an not a specialist and I choose to do only "easy" cases that will not require extra devices to be used in conjunction with Invisalign. This can add to the fee significantly.

Reply:We Americans are big on "Physical Appearance" generally speaking so yes lots of braces, lots of teeth whitening.


I dont know the cost of invisalign, sorry. They almost all have payment plans though.


As for the dentists being horrible, no not the Dentists, it's just that we human beings hate the dental experience, it's no fun, I dont care where you come from.
Reply:Invisilighn runs about 4,300 depending on the legnth of treatment. You have very few appointments and invisilighn is not for everyone. Some patients are not canidates. American doctors I think are very nice and genuine, there are so many here they have to be. Also americans are sue crazy so the dentist have a lot on the line, so they are very efficiant. I have had many patients that are very happy with the results and there experiance in our office.
Reply:I don't know where Brittany is practicing, but where I live (big city, strong economy) Invisalign starts at $2700 for a limited case. We try to keep our fees lower than the cost of braces at a specialist.
