Cheap dental care?

My brother got robbed the other night. He got pistol whipped and 3 of his back teeth are broken. One is just like the bottom the tooth is left. another one half of the tooth is left, the last one is just shattered and is ripping the side of his cheek up. He just started a new job so he doesnt have insurance for another 2 months. He has no money saved up. Does anybody know how much it will be to pull just one tooth or all three. These are all of his back teeth so i heard they cost more. He will do whatevers cheaper so he wont be knocked out. I read some clinics pull teeth for cheaper than dentist. Does anybody know if there is some in the central florida area.

So sorry to hear about your brother..that's awful! Definitely look in the phone books and get on line and search for Dental Colleges. I needed some dental work done once and I live in a small town so I just thought of the biggest cities that were closest to me and typed in the name of the city and "+" dental colleges. You should be able to find some that way. They charge very little or nothing depending on the procedure and sometimes the circumstances and they do great work..they are students but they are always supervised by a dentist that has a dental license. My father told me about a place just a few weeks ago that he had gone to and they were very very inexpensive..it's a group of dentists that get together and donate their time snd services. Most of these places dont advertise for obvious reasons because they would be overwhelmed with patients and people already stay overnight there so they can be in the front of the line and get to be seen. I'm not sure how my dad found out about this place but I'm sure if you call around and ask some of the dentist or even doctors and surely if there is one in your area, someone will know about it and where it is. Good luck to yout brother..and hope this helps you some.
Reply:Find out if the dentist will take him and let him pay on time. Tell the dentist the story of what happened. If they say no, keep trying. There has to be a good soul out there someplace. Good luck.
Reply:Call the local dental colleges. They take patients for their students to learn on and charge a very minimal amount. Some things they do for free.

Reply:I would suggest that you have a look a discount dental plans.

Discount dental plans can save you from 10 to 60 % on most dental procedures plus the best thing is there are no forms to fill out.
Reply:I think i paid like 250 to have a wisdom tooth pulled that was cracked all to hell. If your bro has good credit he should just talk to the dentist. Sometimes you can get on a payment plan.
